Rahmat-e-Alam Foundation: Empowering the Muslim Community with Comprehensive Islamic and Educational Services

Rahmat-e-Alam Foundation, established in 1998, is a prominent Islamic organization offering vital social, educational, and religious services. Operating under the leadership of the distinguished Islamic scholar Hazrat Shah Mufti Mohammed Navalur Rahman Sahib, the foundation aims to strengthen the faith of Muslims and foster an enlightened, harmonious community. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the state of Illinois. The foundation operates through three major divisions: Shariah Board of America, Darululoom Chicago, and Guidance Educational Academy, each of which plays a critical role in providing specialized services for the Muslim community.

Shariah Board of America:

The Shariah Board of America is at the heart of our mission to provide accurate, reliable, and comprehensive Islamic legal guidance. This division offers various services including:

Darul-Ifta:

Providing Islamic legal rulings on a wide range of topics.

Darul-Qadha:

Offering arbitration services, with a special focus on marriage counseling, divorce, and family-related disputes.

Halal Monitoring Services (HMS):

Ensuring the authenticity of Zabiha Halal meat through certification, education, and promoting awareness.

Moon Sighting:

Coordinating with the Central Hilal Committee to ensure accurate moon sighting, fostering unity within the Muslim Ummah.

Publications and Educational Programs:

We produce resources and organize programs to strengthen Islamic knowledge, offering seminars, workshops, and educational courses for both youth and adults. Our goal is to foster a strong Islamic identity and unity within the Muslim community.

Darul Uloom Chicago:

Darululoom Chicago, an essential branch of Rahmat-e-Alam Foundation, focuses on the dissemination and preservation of Islamic knowledge. It provides an array of educational programs, including:

Alim Courses:

Full-time religious studies aimed at producing scholars and experts in Islamic law and theology.

Hifz Program:

Dedicated to the memorization of the Quran.

Weekend Alim Program:

Designed for individuals who wish to study part-time while balancing their other commitments.

Essentials of Deen and STEM Program:

An innovative curriculum that integrates religious education with modern scientific learning.

Guidance Educational Academy:

Guidance Educational Academy is committed to providing a well-rounded education in an Islamic environment. Offering a blend of secular and religious education, the academy aims to develop students into responsible citizens. It serves students from pre-school to 8th grade, with a curriculum that follows the state standards while incorporating teachings from the Quran and Sunnah. The school fosters academic excellence, social responsibility, and moral integrity, ensuring that each child grows in both knowledge and character.
